M. P. Ahammed (born 1 November 1957) is an Indian businessman and the chairman of Malabar Group of Companies. He is also the founder of Malabar Gold and Diamonds, one of world’s largest retail jewellery groups.. According to the Economic Times, in 2012 Malabar Gold and Diamonds made a turnover of ₹12,000 Crore, and by the end of 2013, the companys turnover touched ₹22,000 Crore.
